At Jem Machine, our primary focus is on reconditioning Nicholson Debarkers. We also purchase and sell complete sawmills and related lumber machinery - we own what we sell. We have a complete in house fabrication and machine shop that is 9,000 SQ FT. and sits on 4 acres of land in Grangeville, Idaho.
Since 1983, we have offered the lumber industry a full product line of refurbished sawmill equipment. With worldwide clients in Canada, South America, Russia, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. We have become one of the top international recognized leaders for sawmill machinery and Planner Mill equipment. If it can be delivered we’ll ship it.
Our company can supply you with an individual piece to an entire line or complete mill facility. Due to our geographical location, we operate Jem Machine with a low overhead. Therefore, we are passing on the substantial savings to you, when you buy capital woodworking equipment. Our team has some of the most experienced sawmill veterans in the industry. We carry many quality brands of used sawmill machinery, planer mill and chip mill equipment. Our inventory consists of; Used Barkers, Band mills, Chippers, Grinders and Planner equipment. The Manufactured brand names we rebuild are; Nicholson, McDonough, Salem, Hanchett, Armstrong, L&B and Klamath and many more. However, we primarily rebuild A-5 Nicholson debarkers and offer a reconditioned ring exchange for the 22”, 27” and 35”.
We purchase complete mills and we can purchase your surplus sawmill machinery.
